The Catford (Southend) and Downham Team (Church of England Parish) is now running a Parish Nursing project, coordinated by St Luke’s Downham, to serve the people of the parish.
Vision Statement: Journeying with the people of Catford and Downham to empower and enable them to improve their physical, mental and spiritual health.
Mission Statement: To empower, advocate and support people’s wellbeing through health education, signposting and pastoral care initially through presence at projects already being run by the church (ie: Front Room at St Luke’s; Whitefoot and Downham Food Plus Project at Hope Church; Open Church at St John’s).
